Madge hat update on etsy

Today I'm going to be listing some Blythe sized Granny Madge hats and mini madge hats. The mini hats fit both lati yellow and vintage Strawberry shortcake dolls. Granny Madge is doing a good job ensuring our girls keep their heads warm this winter :D

Thanks so much for all the lovely birthday wishes, they really made my Granny's day special!!

She has been over to see us for tea and cake on her birthday! Here she is with a couple of girls wearing her fab hats!!

Birthday Bash!

We are all ready for the birthday party here! Granny madge is coming over tomorrow and when she has gone home we will be listing all the frocks and matching jackets and hats. It will be around 5-6pm UK time. They will be listed as complete sets for $55 for 3 items, dress, jacket and hat. We do have more in the pipeline for next week too (we like to make birthdays last here!!!)

Posh Birthday Party Frocks!

First of the posh party frocks. I will start listing them on Granny Madge's birthday, Wednesday 15th October around 5-6pm UK time. My girls are all excited abour Granny Madge coming over, they hope you like what we have created :D

The strawberry shortcake dolls are having some fun with the mini madge hats. They get up to mischief when I am busy :D

I am working on some posh party frocks that will be listed next week complete with matching Granny Madge jackets and hats (so that your dollies don't get cold on the way to the party!)

This is to celebrate Granny Madge's 88th Birthday on the 15th October. She will be coming over to visit that day and the girls need to look smart for the party! Madge also wants to find out where all her lovely things go to and what an 'etsy' shop looks like, so I am going to show her all the lovely photos you have all done and my little 'shop' on the net :D

At Last!

Going to start listing some Mini Madge hats today. Poppy is really enjoying doing some modelling! She may get attached to some of these super cute little creations though :D

It's done!

After days of sorting, folding, labelling etc etc, my little studio is done! I am so happy to have this space I could do a little dance :D Production is back up to speed again so look out for some Polly (and Madge) goodness!!!

Studio is nearly done!

Nearly there with the room. I didn't realise how much stuff I had!!! The girls are all settled in and I am nearly ready to start production again. I am a bit late with listing the mini madge hats so it will probably be this week now. I just have to organise my fabric and buttons and I'm done! Here is a pic just before the carpet fitter came....

New studio!!

Sorry if anyone was waiting for me to list the mini madge hats but I unexpectedly had to finish painting my studio/craft room as the carpet fitters are coming today!! I am so excited about having my own room but my house is a mess with yarn, fabric, buttons , ribbon, lace etc etc!! I will hopefully be back to normal by Sunday and able to start listing them. Having my studio is a dream come true and I am like a kid with a new toy! My girls are all packing up their clothes ready for the move into Polly's little paradise :D I'm off now to organise all my sewing threads!

Wonderfall Mini Madge Bouquet!

Here is the latest batch from the Granny Madge factory! She now has a little helper called codbags who has transformed the hats into magical morsels of loveliness!! These hats fit Lati yellow or vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls and will be listed on Friday 3rd October in my etsy shop www.polly.etsy.com They sell for $6.50 each. I will post some pictures of the girls modelling some later this week.

More pics of Halloween set

Picture showing some detail of the dress in the Black Widow set. The tarantula might find its way in the set too!! Underneath the torn strips of black fabric on the skirt part there is black lace. There is a black lace bow at the back of the dress. As with Dem Bones dress it is very long so it can be trailed on the floor for effect. More details of Dem Bones coming later.

Halloween Set Black Widow

The black widow is a deadly creature! Here she is in all her finery. Black layered dress with black crystal cross, silky tassel and chains and a spider perched on her chest! Comes with fine net cape and crochet hat with black jet like beads on the corners, lace veil and rosettes at the temples with 'rubys' in the centres. Price will be $70 and will be listed along with Dem Bones on Wednesday 1sy October at 6pm UK time. email me for any other details janepierrepont@aol.com. Watch out!!!

Halloween set....Dem Bones

Here is the first set for Halloween. Called 'Dem Bones' it has 5 little skeletons all around the skirt of the dress and 'rubys' in between them. The skirt is layered bone coloured cotton and lace and net. The top of the dress has a chain hanging from the shoulders. The Hat has bones and net and beads and a 'ruby'. The dress is extra long for dramatic effect and can be trailed all over the floor to sweep the cobwebs as she walks. We hope you enjoy our creation, it will be in the shop on Wednesday 1st October at 6pm UK time. The price will be $70 + shipping. There will only be 2 halloween sets from Miss Polly as she has put lots of time into them and wanted them to be very special. They will not be repeated again.

Mini Madge Hats!!

Miss Polly's Fairy Grandmother Madge has been VERY busy and with the help of her little elf Codbags has made a wonderful batch of hats for your Lati babies or Strawberry Shortcake vintage dolls. Poppy wanted to tempt you with a sneak preview. We have a rainbow of colours and some really funky designs. All are $6.50 and will be in the shop next week. Miss Polly is really busy now finishing off the two Special Halloween sets that will be coming next week. Its mayhem in the studio, bits of fabric and yarn and strange pastic things!!

Highland Fling Sets

This Friday around 5pm UK time Miss Polly will be listing her Highland Fling sets. She will be doing a little scottish dance while she works (it helps to dance!!) and eating some shortbread. Maybe later she can have a tot of lovely scottish whisky too!!!
They will sell at $39 each which includes hat, dress and socks.
She also has some little Strawberry Shortcake sets which will be as sweet as the dolls that wear them!

Back Again!!!

Here I am, fresh from my holiday with lots of ideas as usual. I decided to pick up my blog as a way of informing all my friends and etsy customers of what I am up to. From now on I will be blogging as Miss Polly (my creative alter ego) and will tell you what she gets up to and what new stuff she has in the pipeline.
