Magical Dream Collection

To celebrate my 2nd Anniversary I have enlisted the help of some pixies and elves to work their magic and make a collection that shouts 'POLLY!!' They have done me proud and created a felted Magical Dreamcoat and a supercute Magical Dreamhat! They are busy putting final touches to the Magical Dreamdress too :D These items will be listed as they are completed throughout April and May. Spring Luxe Collection

Preview pics of the Spring Luxe Collection are now being revealed! These pieces are made from luxury fabrics and trims, some with crochet ties and charms/beads on them. They will sell for $22 each including worldwide postage and there will be a selection of crochet caps to compliment them with vintage beads or brooches trimming them. These will be for sale at $12 each including worldwide postage.

All these items will be on sale from Tuesday March 31st around 4pm UK time (will be BST by then!)

In between knitting the Boyfriend cardigans I have been working on some new things. Keeping the prices keen still but adding a bit of luxury this time! I'll be posting pics soon :D

The Boyfriend cardigan orders will be open again this weekend as I have caught up with all the previous orders now *phew* Unfortunately I have had to review the price as I seriously under estimated the amount of time involved in these tiny creations! I have only put them up to $25 still including worldwide shipping so they are still a bargain, but, I will be only taking small orders so I don't get carpal tunnel syndrome! CCC Collection!

In a bid to be good and produce some fun stuff I have made a pledge to myself to use my stash up and create some fun, cheerful pieces that are affordable in these times of gloom and doom! So I have made some simple dresses, a cute CCC (Credit Crunch Cap!) and Granny Madge has made some matching scarves and crop jackets. I will be listing the first lot next Tuesday:D
The babydoll dress and matching Granny Madge neck snuggler will be $15 Inc postage worldwide, The Granny Madge crop jacket will be $15 inc postage and the Credit Crunch Cap will be $10 inc postage!!

I also have the new 'Boyfriend' style cardigan which I will be listing on an order basis. They take quite a while to knit so I thought it best to get orders rather than sit knitting colours people don't want :) I will sort out what colours will be available and make a listing so you can order what colour you want. You will need to allow up to 7 days for me to finish the order. Price will be just $20 inc postage worldwide to keep in line with my CCC!!! The yarns I have include pure lambswool, merino wool, cashmere and kidsilk mohiar. I will not be buying new yarns (part of my pledge) so when they are used up that colour will be gone!

Cake Week Updates!

Where have I been??

Strawberry Land!!!
I have been so busy making some cute new outfits for the cakes, due to be in the shop next week. These are babydoll top, beanie hat and matching pants. Also we have more Granny Madge stuff on the way in some lovely bright colours. The cakes have insisted it is their turn first so this week is 'cake' week :D

Granny Madge Twisty hats and jackets

On Friday 13th February at around 5pm UK time I will be listing a new batch of Granny Madge stuff. She is so happy to be knitting again and is very busy with her needles. We have created a hat ' with a twist' and some little jackets to match. They will be priced at $28 per set including shipping costs. I have 6 this week, but more to come now the "Granny Madge Factory' is open again :D

February 1st shop update

On Sunday February 1st I will be updating my shop with some new items from my latest designs. There are around 12 sets which I will list throughout the day. I will do 4 in the morning, 4 lunchtime and 4 evening. Hopefully this will help with times for those not in the UK. Previews will be on flickr as they get completed this week.

Update

I have been incredibly busy the last week making some more of the new designs. These should be all finished by the end of next week ready to list. I have around 12 new sets, all different colours and trims.

I have decided to include shipping in my prices from now on to avoid the problem people have getting things on etsy and being charged twice for the postage. I think this way it will be simpler and fairer, and avoid me having to refund overpayments.

Also I am going to list at varying times of the day to avoid some people missing the listing times. This will also avoid me having to sit at the computer for a solid hour listing things ( I can nip off for tea and cake throughout the day instead!!)

Preview pics will be on flickr as usual but more group pics so as to avoid the loads of photos going on there making it hard to look through.

New Designs!

Just a little sneaky peek at a bit of the new designs I am working on for the dollies. They are quite intricate items that are taking me a while to complete but I hope are worth it! More pics to come as I finish pieces :D

Happy New Year Everyone!!

Miss Polly is back from France, well fed and watered and ready for 2009!! Had some inspiration whilst away (which is always good!) so I will be busy in the studio trying to recreate the pictures in my head!

I the mean time I will be putting some pieces in my folksy shop for full size girls, including a freeform crochet scarf, patchwork recycled bag and some bangles and cuffs. See the link in the sidebar to my shop.

Have to go and unpack now and see if there is any bread in the house for some toast!

Miss Polly's new shop

Miss Polly has a new shop for all her non-dolly stuff! She loves turning old stuff into new pretty things and so she has created a folksy shop especially for this. This site is still in its beta stage but looks good and will soon be international so she is busy making some lovely things to go in it. Its empty at the mo while she sorts out items and packaging etc but the new year will bring some lovely accessories to pretty up your life :D

Where am I??

If anyone wondered if I had fell off the planet I thought I would give you a little update! I decided to concentrate on getting all my Xmas jobs done and try to keep off the computer a bit, so what happened?? I came down with, cold...then tummy bug...then migraine!! I think my body was telling me to get back online!! Anyhow, I am busy dreaming up some new ideas for our dollies for 2009 and will be off to France to see some friends for New Year, then back to work on the 5th January.

I would like to thank all my lovely friends and marvellous customers for all your support during 2008. Thanks for making my creative dreams come true :D

Mini Marvellous Madge hats

After a riot in the SSC camp yesterday I bowed to the pressure and whipped up some mini marvellous Madge hats for the girls! They will be available later today if anyone is interested. I'll list them on etsy for $7 each. They had such fun modelling I think I may have a quieter day today :D

Sunday Listing

Today (Sunday 23rd ) I will be listing all my Xmas Special Sets. It will be around 5pm UK when I have finished all my sunday chores :D These sets will all be $75 each + shipping and will include footwear and some tights/socks. If these are not required I can lower the price accordingly, just send me a convo after purchase. They will all be sent in a nice box that they can be kept in and wrapped with lots of tissue. Also all purchases will get a 10% voucher off your next order in the new year. I have put a lot of effort and love into these creations and my girls have had some fun dressing up too!! Wizard of Oz sets

This Sunday I will be listing my Xmas special Wizard of Oz sets. All outfits are very OOAK and a lot of work has gone into each one. All come with matching footwear (some with tights/socks too)and in a sturdy box to keep it nice :D More details to come and more pics are on flickr.

Marvellous Madge hats

Granny Madge has been busy making stock because she is having an operation on her wrist on friday. Today I will be listing 12 hats on etsy, more to follow! She will be having a well earned rest for a while then (though I think she isn't that happy about it!!)

Xmas Belle Collection

I will be listing some items from my Xmas Belle Collection on Friday. I have created a felted mohair cloche hat with vintage buttons all around the brim, a crocheted pure silk dress with lace bottom, vintage buttons around the peplum and tiny glass beads around the neckline, cream taffetta pants to wear underneath and the most gorgeous fine mohair knit cardigan with 'leg of mutton' sleeves, babydoll style body and tiny glass beads to highlight the gathering.

I will be making more of these as time permits, cardigans being the most time consuming (but very pleasurable to do!)

The special OOAK themed Xmas sets are coming along nicely. There will be 6 of these and I am on the 4th! Hopefully I will have some preview pics for you next week. I am having so much fun with these :D

Fly

Well I am so in love with my new girl Fly I wanted to share her with you :D She is my first mohair girl and is sitting by my side making me smile while my hands work on the Xmas 2008 designs. I have 6 special themed sets coming for the end of November and some lovely little items that will make your girls feel very special. For now, enjoy Fly while I work hard :D I will be posting some preview peeks very soon :D

Felted hats and more minis

On Friday I will be listing some more felted cloche hats and a couple of mini dress and hat sets. Production is being focused on the xmas sets that are under secret construction! A lot of effort is going into them!!!!

busy busy busy

After a wasted day on Sunday being ill in bed I am rather behind with my mini dress sets for this week. Looks like I may have a couple, rather than six!!! I also have some more felted cloche hats finished which will be listed Friday.

Other than those items I am secretly working on my Special Xmas sets. There will be 6 sets all linked to each other and listed all together in plenty of time for xmas posting.

Best go and get busy.....I may give some clues out nearer listing time :D

New kid on the block!

Welcome mad haired Rooby to the gang! She arrived yesterday in a cloud of exhaust fumes much to the surprise of the rest of the girls. They are a little bit cautious of her but are happily giving her the Polly house initiation (lots of tea and cakes!!) Looks like she may be a lot of fun :D

Felted hats

The mini dresses for this week are all listed now and I am working on next weeks colours. As well as these I have been experimenting with felting (Oh my poor handies!!) Here is what I have come up with. I had so much fun I am having a go at some more. They will be OOAK as I never know how they are going to turn out :D

Mini Dresses and hats

Nearly all finished with this weeks batch of mini dresses and hats! There will be six this friday and six next friday. Prices are $20 for the dresses and $10 for the hats. I am going to list as sets because I have limited mohair for the hats and don't want anyone disappointed if they miss stuff they want matching. I have more mohair and cashmere for the dresses though so if anyone would like just the dress please ask. I can also make matching cardigans :D

Mohair Minis

Got some new dresses finished and nearly ready for etsy. I have quite a few colours coming, some mohair and some cashmere. With matching hats to keep your dolly cozy :D

Madge hat update on etsy

Today I'm going to be listing some Blythe sized Granny Madge hats and mini madge hats. The mini hats fit both lati yellow and vintage Strawberry shortcake dolls. Granny Madge is doing a good job ensuring our girls keep their heads warm this winter :D

Birthday Bash!

We are all ready for the birthday party here! Granny madge is coming over tomorrow and when she has gone home we will be listing all the frocks and matching jackets and hats. It will be around 5-6pm UK time. They will be listed as complete sets for $55 for 3 items, dress, jacket and hat. We do have more in the pipeline for next week too (we like to make birthdays last here!!!)

Posh Birthday Party Frocks!

First of the posh party frocks. I will start listing them on Granny Madge's birthday, Wednesday 15th October around 5-6pm UK time. My girls are all excited abour Granny Madge coming over, they hope you like what we have created :D

The strawberry shortcake dolls are having some fun with the mini madge hats. They get up to mischief when I am busy :D

I am working on some posh party frocks that will be listed next week complete with matching Granny Madge jackets and hats (so that your dollies don't get cold on the way to the party!)

This is to celebrate Granny Madge's 88th Birthday on the 15th October. She will be coming over to visit that day and the girls need to look smart for the party! Madge also wants to find out where all her lovely things go to and what an 'etsy' shop looks like, so I am going to show her all the lovely photos you have all done and my little 'shop' on the net :D

At Last!

Going to start listing some Mini Madge hats today. Poppy is really enjoying doing some modelling! She may get attached to some of these super cute little creations though :D

It's done!

After days of sorting, folding, labelling etc etc, my little studio is done! I am so happy to have this space I could do a little dance :D Production is back up to speed again so look out for some Polly (and Madge) goodness!!!

Studio is nearly done!

Nearly there with the room. I didn't realise how much stuff I had!!! The girls are all settled in and I am nearly ready to start production again. I am a bit late with listing the mini madge hats so it will probably be this week now. I just have to organise my fabric and buttons and I'm done! Here is a pic just before the carpet fitter came....

New studio!!

Sorry if anyone was waiting for me to list the mini madge hats but I unexpectedly had to finish painting my studio/craft room as the carpet fitters are coming today!! I am so excited about having my own room but my house is a mess with yarn, fabric, buttons , ribbon, lace etc etc!! I will hopefully be back to normal by Sunday and able to start listing them. Having my studio is a dream come true and I am like a kid with a new toy! My girls are all packing up their clothes ready for the move into Polly's little paradise :D I'm off now to organise all my sewing threads!
